The Full Bibliography: Every Source Behind Everybody's Science, by Chapter

Compiled July 2026 — sources current as of the book's most recent working draft

Every source cited in Everybody's Science, gathered here in one place and organized the way the book itself is organized — by Part, then by chapter within each Part. Seven chapters carry their own “Exact sources, for citation” note inside the book itself; every one of those seven blocks is reproduced here in full, verified directly against the chapter text rather than assumed. The remaining nine chapters' entries compile the authors, studies, and reports already named in that chapter's own prose, verified against the original publication wherever the book didn't already spell out a full citation.

One standard was held to throughout: nothing here was invented. Where a claim in the manuscript wasn't specific enough to trace to a real, checkable source, it was either replaced with a properly sourced figure or flagged rather than guessed at. One item below still carries that flag — see Chapter 15. Wherever a DOI, stable URL, ISBN, or official record exists for a source, it's included so a reader can go find the thing itself — also verified individually, never guessed. Where no single stable link exists (an 1854 lecture, a general category of agency reporting), that's said plainly instead of a fabricated one standing in for it.
